You're allowed to change how you feel

One of the biggest obstacles to feeling happier is believing that you need to feel positive all the time.

I spent a lot of my life being stuck there, trying to escape "negative" feelings, collect more of the good ones.

And yet, the most powerful lesson I've learned is that happiness is not about feeling good all the time.

Genuine, lasting happiness and well-being come when we learn to embrace all of the different emotions we experience with compassion. 

When we give ourselves the freedom to embrace our true humanity.
